The internet being what it is, you always have to feel like you need to at least set some ground rules when something like this starts up. At first there won't be many...I don't foresee a vast community of people here, so I'm figuring everyone will be capable of kind of keeping themselves in check. However, we will not hesitate to take action if we feel action is warranted. Please just try to follow some basic guidelines:
- Respect. This is by far the most important aspect and the most violated part of any message board experience. Please don't forget that there is a human being behind every keyboard, and treat them as you would expect to be treated yourself. A difference in opinion is perfectly fine, but please express these opinions intelligently, rationally, and with respect. We will not tolerate flames, newbie-bashing, or other assorted internet "traditions". We want this to be a friendly, accomadating place for all.
- Politics, Race, or Religion. These are VERY hot-button topics and as such I ask to please refrain from discussing matters of this nature on this board. There are plenty of forums out there for these discussions, this is NOT one of them. These topics can very quickly degenerate into dirty waters, and I ask that everyone avoid talking about them while a member of this forum.
- Trades/Sales, etc... Please keep in mind that all deals made on this forum are the responsibility of the parties involved, and NOT of the admin/site staff. You are taking a risk every time you deal with someone you do not know, and we cannot be held responsible if something goes wrong.
That's about it for now. Most important thing is to kick back, relax, talk about COPS, or whatever you might want to. Let us know if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, thanks!

Welcome!
I began my love for the Central Organization of Police Specialists many years ago, and have just finally gotten it all together well enough to get the site up, and figured we might as well create the first COPS-based forum while we were at it. I don't know how many people are interested, but you never know until you try, so here we are.
Myself and the only other admin/mod at the moment, AutobotC5 are always available for questions, comments, and suggestions, and we want to make this a forum and a site by the fans, FOR the fans. So you let us know what you want to see, and as long as we technically able and it's not breaking any laws, we'll do our best.
